Great Feature, Great Storyline, Great Video; Watch How The Tables Turn On Swat Matire In “Bad Girl”

Swat Matire and Black Market Records have just premiered the brand new music video for his latest feature “Bad Girl” alongside Shekinah Karen and Fathermoh.

The song seems like a continuation of the artists’ previous collaboration, Ex by Swat Matire and Shekinah Karen along with Dai Dai by Fathermoh and Shekinah Karen.

Directed by Tony De Gigz, the video is shot in a wedding set up where Fathermoh interrupts Shekinah Karen and Swat Matire’s wedding. Everyone is left flabbergasted as the three get into a verbal fight.

In the song’s flashback, the director shows Fathermoh and Shekinah Karen’s “relationship” but when we fast forward, the latter denies knowing Fathermoh.

The music video to “Bad Girl” will make you understand more about the leitmotiv behind this single if you are not familiar with Swahili and sheng’ language.

The concept is pretty much obvious and the director definitely didn’t fail.

“Bad Girl” shows Swat Matire at his best, showing raw talent in a different direction and the feature is entirely refreshing. The other two assists and the congregation nailed in this skit too.

When they are in a song that is great from start to finish, from the memorable and snappy chorus, to Shekinah’s simple, brutally effective verses as she tries to defend herself, ‘Bad Girl’ makes for one hell of a track. This is not just one more meaningless stunt collaboration, but a powerful new trio.

Great feature, great storyline, great video, just the right song for airplay and fit for your day to day playlist. Check out the official music video for Bad Girl by Swat Matire, Shekinah Karen and Fathermoh out now on YouTube to enjoy.
