Ukicheat; What Do You Think About Cheating?

After years of anticipation, fans finally got to see Joefes and Ssaru join forces — and their collaboration resulted in one of the most deliciously defense anthems of the year. Defence from what? Cheating. The two singers trade witty lyrics about being caught unawares cheating on their partners.
The song comes off his recently released 13-song album called Niko Maji Naflood Market. With the great sound from topnotch producers like Mavo On the Beat, he featured a couple of great artists with amazing vocals and rhyme.
On this release, Joefes commences with straight fire: Over a beat both thunderous and hook-y, the Kenyan rappers seems to be advocating for normalisation of cheating in relationships or situationships
Cheating is a vice that's currently being given a thumbs up with millennials and Gen Z. It's sure a bummer but then again the two artists went out their way to make it less rebukable, say funny, and can make you want to look at it positively too. I think Ukicheat is realistic and creates a challenge for the listener, making them understand what could drive somebody to cheat. We always want artists to "open up" and be "real" in their songs, and there's only so many songs about being in love before it gets boring. Hearing the same old "happy ending" or generic theme saturates the music people listen to a lot, so hearing something that's realistic and more importantly something that you can relate to is refreshing. Ukicheat gives one more comfort to know that they are not alone in their relationship struggle. The duo championed themselves to give Ukicheat extra powe thus the result is one of 2022’s best bangers, no pun intended. Check out Ukicheat by Ssaru and Joefes and don't forget to show some love to them!
