An Insight To Boondocks Gang’s New Track ‘Mashallah’
Here’s why you should stream Mashallah by Boondocks Gang;
It's certainly atmospheric, but lyrically it's pretty average and it's quite repetitive sonically. The song was produced by Byron On The Beat under Black Market Records.
The verses are interesting, with Exray picking up the first verse after Odi Wa Murang’a’s intro and flawlessly rapping through the beats. Odi Wa Murang’a comes in second after singing the chorus dissing rappers who flex while having nothing to offer.
He raps;
Kuna rapper anajifanya ati anajua kuroga na anasound ka rapper wa Guadalupe
Kati ya benz ama beamer, ukiniuliza hakuna me nataka kubuy mini copper…
If you listen to the track, you’d find that the continually interesting part of the song is the bridge and chorus plus the amused screaming girl in the background.
Boondocks Gang shine; any day and with any song as they carry standout melodies. Without them, gengetone music wouldn’t be much of anything.
That being said, Mashallah isn't BAD, but you and me both know that the gang can do better.
