Vic West Continues To Attain Great Heights With New Music ‘Cool Me Down’

Cool Me Down is a beautiful upbeat fusion of gengetone and afropop, with a feel-good vibes and dance-along beats. It’s a mega collaboration consisting of Vic West, Bensoul, Savara, Thee Exit Band and Joefes. The song’s official video got premiered on 28th April 2023 under Black Market Records and has since captured the ears of fans all round. 

The Dolls-directed video features vivid imagery and the artists carefree personas as they dance around in a club and do a live performance for their audience. Bensoul comes through in the first verse then Thee Exit Band melodiously sing the chorus. Savara hops in on the second verse mixing English, Kiswahili and a pinch of local dialect. Joefes takes over the last verse at the pooltable.

In various shots we see Bonfire Adventures CEO, Simon Kabu, flexing his cash on a lady but the latter seems to be interested in something or rather someone else because later in the video we see her leave with the song’s producer, Vic West as the party is going on. Rico Gang’s Harry Craze, Boutross, Chan Chan, Fathermoh weren’t left out in the music video too. In many ways, Cool Me Down’s video marries elements of the seven artists’ brand: energetic, colorful personalities, unafraid to bask in enjoyment.
