Unspoken Salaton Showcases A Sense Of Triumph In New Jam, The Audacity
Great Rap Jams Make Us Feel Liberated. Good music should make us feel redeemed.
Unspoken Salaton is a rising and yet controversial drill rapper from Kenya whose sound is far more daring and more menacing than his peers; it shares stylistic touchstones with popular UK rap styles, similarly to many of Kenyan artists like; Buruklyn Boyz, Big Yasa, Wakadinali, Kayvo KForce or Silverstone Barz.
Kicking off with a celestial-sounding intro before exploding into what could become the hit of the track. The Audacity holds much references to the realities of our day to day lives and also brags about himself through the hard hitting beats. He raps;
Oh really
Naubiri, man's man's got soul
Ka ngoma za Nviiri
Ever since I made some choices
Pressure ni mingi they wanna be me
Tangu nitoe Mambo ni Mengi
Rappers wangapi wameomba the remix
Inataka tu chemistry hatuwezi kikuja na physics
Skiza, You're joking right
Cut from a different cloth am a different species
No need for a plunger, alisema
Unspoken's flow of the rhythm pulls you in, while his vocals of the beguile. There's full punch delivery and some roughness to his tone too. The music video itself couldn’t be simpler, unlike in Mambo Ni Mengi, The Audacity has Unspoken Salaton rapping alone (no cheer squad or vixens).
The Audacity EP has 8 anthems of absolution, ear-worming their way into your consciousness to alleviate guilt right as it lures you to a place tailor-made for transgression: the dance floor. Streaming on popular music apps, check our The Audacity by Unspoken Salaton. Cheers!
