The Vic West Era: Brains Behind Kuna Kuna Hit

2022 has been a monumental year for producer Vic West. After the recent blowup of Dai Dai by Fathermoh and Shekinah Karen that garnered 1M+ views, the 26-year-old music legend has just released a new song dubbed, Kuna Kuna featuring music legends Fathermoh, Brandy Maina, Thee Exit Band and Savara. 

Beloved by most artists, Vic West has made a name for himself in this decade by creating music that young adults (adults too) could relate to. Kuna Kuna has spread like wildfire all round TV stations, radio stations, online platforms; TikTok, Instagram and Facebook too. It's everyone's favorite jam with the right pinch of creativity, stage performance and artistic setting. 

And while we'll always love his mega-hits like "Soko" by Mbuzi Gang, HarryCraze alongside Unspoken Salaton, and "Mapenzi Raha," by Thee Exit Band, new songs have set off like "Kuna Kuna" and "Sababisha" that keep us dancing and singing off our lungs. The artist makes music just feel right and good, making us want to dance.

Vic West is a musician, lyricist, producer and director. He does filmmaking aside from producing and directing music, which he surely does enjoy. In an interview with The Trend after Dai Dai's breakthrough, Vic West tagged himself a shy guy which many can attest to. He doesn't consume alcohol but has a liking to Fanta passion. He enjoys sleeping and cooking whenever he's not at the studio.
