A thin line between love and music

Most people consider love songs as sappy, suffocating and out of their lane but I differ. If you take a look at Black Market Records love song list you'd think different. The record label has a group of young talented musicians whom you know oh-so-well, from Mbuzi Gang, Boondocks Gang, Teslah, Chan Chan, Thee Exit Band, Unspoken Salaton, the list is endless! They all try, every once in a while, to please our ears and make it comfortable for us to sit in a matatu and vibe to their songs without feeling like hiding under the seats just from listening to explicit content the young generation familiarises to.
It's not everyday that we want to go all gangstar to the world, there's a piece in our heart that is still soft and needs a tender touch of love. So here's a playlist on love songs that I'd recommend you:
1. Love By Thee Exit Band
Love is a heartfelt song, by Thee Exit Band, with intense emotions of a loved one seeking more affection from the partner. The song is on trend for its significance to the love trouble we go through. The trio flourish the song with their sweet vocals, content, and flow.

2. On My Mind By Chan Chan featuring Teslah
Good is an understatement if you want to describe this song. The chemistry between the two artists connects perfectly to the song making On My Mind mind blowing, cheesy and eye appealing. From the soothing voices of the two artists, am 100% sure you'll love this project and would want to share it with a special person you are too shy to admit your feelings to.

3. Dai Dai By Fathermoh featuring Shekinah Karen
Dai dai sees a couple, Fathermoh and Shekinah, struggling with relationship dominance throughout and they settle their comical beef by speaking out their truth and eventually coming to an agreement to get back together. The song is full of dramatic exchanges as they diss each other but in the end their love conquers their hate.
4. My Last Warrior By Nezo B
The simple, memorable and relatable song has Nezo B singing his lungs out to his loved one. He has a way to wooing his lover and his words will have you cooing at the music video.

5. Kampala By Daddy Andre
Many would ask why is Daddy Andre is singing to a city. Well, here is why; Kampala is a stand in for a woman Daddy Andre is calling out to. He adores and loves the woman taking it all out through his singing. The famous producer did this song wholeheartedly and eventhough many of you aren't familiar with the language used, Luganda, you would fall in love instantly and wish you'd be Kampala.
6. Wangi By Nina Roz
The Ugandan property graced us with this love themed ballad that shows raw emotions of her being in love. From the music video we see Nina running around the streets of Zanzibar looking like a lovestruck teenager. It's smooth, merry- bringing and so amazing. The Lugandan song is as attractive and beautiful as the singer and we hope she finds her lover.

7. Body Guard By Jsan Bouy
Breaking through with his debut project, Jsan Bouy shares this entertaining love song straight from his heart. He sings melodically to his lover and from the official music video, assumably, the love they share is from a young age.

The songs about are playlist worthy and have the right spices to touch your heart. So get a listen to not one but all of them and let us know how you feel about either.
