Rico Gang Doing It Again!

Rico Gang's recent Ep, Sababisha, has given birth to an enthralling groove song dubbed Miondoko that is almost guaranteed to bring massive years ahead. Joined by Mbuzi Gang in the track, this is the mega group team-up the gengetone scene needs currently.
Rico Gang is a different kettle of fish. They made hits after hits back when they released Fuckboy and Mbogi Ni Ya Kimonyoski. Here in Miondoko, the lads rhyme over a mix of gengetone, reggae and chanting beats, the rappers sing energetically about party life, they even went further to create a dance routine for the song. They have determined flows and bars, frequently switching up their delivery from Kiswahili to a bit of Sheng' and English.
The artists equally part the song among themselves; Harry Craze with the opening scene, Fathermoh coming in with the first verse, Triand raps his own at the second, then Joefes hops in and at the end iPhoolish closed the song with a might.
Merging their powerful raps with gengetone-tinged vocals, the two squads bring a refreshing energy to the Kenyan rap table, and we’re all ready for them to dish up more of what they have been cooking in the kitchen. You'd be missing out on a lot if you haven't jumped on the Miondoko dance challenge on TikTok because every Tom, Dick and Harry is on to it. Check out Miondoko on any online streaming app and don't forget to share widely.
