Kelele Album Review

Mbuzi Gang enjoy jamming as many tracks as possible onto their albums for some strange reason but this is not a bummer because their fans enjoy them. They have used lively delivery and punchline phrases throughout the released album to address a variety of savage subjects. Mbuzi Gang nearly seem to have a knack for making our ears and souls resonate with them; pumping the urge to get on your feet and dance. Collabo or not, the entertainers always have us on our toes, for example, the released album comes right after the Three Wise Goats one. The album has a total of 8 amazing songs featuring other brainy artists;
Kelele
The amazing new music video Kelele is a fantastic track that will certainly make its way onto your playlist. It is catchy and crafty with Mbuzi Gang calling out and proclaiming to be the only gengetone group that is still making noise
Alert featuring Odi wa Muranga
The collabo with Odi wa Muranga adds a pinch of salt to the already tasty jam. The chorus goes; At ease! alert! salute! tunaenda sherehe (wapi) tunaenda sherehe! Tunaenda sherehe (Canaan) will get you off the seat and dancing merrily to it.
Mtama
Mtama comes third with head bopping beats by Jegede. This song is assumably interesting and it has a sing-along melody. Fat boy Gwaash was also featured in this superb jam.
Mbona ft Vintage Clan
The Omzigidi hitmakers united with the three "goats" in this outstanding jam. The classic new song has a smooth flow from each of the performers. The stars did very well not to overpower each other and just maintain the vibe.
Amejam featuring Joefes
Amejam is a solo tune by Joefes where, once in a while, he talks about girls being mad at petty issues and the little things they do that are annoying. Surprisingly, it is said that their oh-so-known-producer Vic West sang the chorus part. Could this be true? We don't know, all we know is that the jam is a hit!
Whine featuring Fathermoh
The king of choruses, Fathermoh, graces us with this track, (Basi whine whine whine, basi whine, ushawahi chase muratina na kiwine, alafu uchase ukishika umekiwai, umekidim buy pombe...)he is an artist that you never really know what you are going to get when you listen to his songs. The solo tune doesn't need a helping hand, it has got its grip on us already.
Goons ft iPhoolish and Katapilla
Produced by Vic West, Goons is a grime jam where iPhoolish teamed up with Odinare challenge artist Katapilla to entertain us. Grime is a new wave rappers have been familiarising with and the duo did quite well in going with the current trends. The two provide some witty lyrics with mad energy. From this song, you'd confuse iPhoolish's to Ajay's from Buruklyn Boyz, they sound seemingly the same.
Ndasu
Ndasu, Sunda from Kiswahili word mixup, has the three artists singing alone. It's a chilled dance song with their normal formation of singing; Joefes taking the first verse, Fathermoh comes in with the chorus and iPhoolish comes last closing the whole album.
The trio have made a significant impact in the Gengetone community and entertainment industry ever since they came into the picture. We hope to listen to more of their projects now and in future. Check out Mbuzi Gang's full album Kelele and let us know your views on it.
