Nina Roz Offers Beautiful Versions of Love Through Song, Wangi

"Wangi, Wangi...Amaso go gampita", are some of the lines from the song Wangi by Ugandan empress, Nina Roz. Charming would be a great way to characterise the excerpted lyrics from the single. Wangi is a Lugandan song meaning fragrant sang by the actor, vocalist and model. Safe to say, on this two-minute-plus song, Nina did not hold back, she kept it 100!
Nina is a pop star who works best unplugged; there are raw emotions to her writings and her smooth lovely voice makes her music be acoustically delightful. Wangi is a cleverly written tune with a tempo of 198BMP and chords (Bb, F, Eb, Adim, Gm, C). The classic jam gives a short sweet verse and chorus once in a while repeating words to put emphasis on her feelings. From the official music video, she seems happy, in love and contented though the song is all about love and a second party is asking for forgiveness for a mistake that had been done previously. The video production from the tracking to close-ups is topnotch and amazing with out of the box colour grade. Nina goes from feeding turtles and swaying her way through the beautiful streets of Zanzibar. The song was mastered and mixed by producer Josh King and it is remarkable.
