Fathermoh’s Peak Season
DaiDai peaked at number 3 trending with over 4K views on YouTube revieling that the song's perception from the fans is exceptionally positive. Both a lyric and Tiktok video clip was released to promote the song before the official video came out early this August.
The video production was extra cinematic telling a story of a couple who suffer from relationship pre-eminence. It's full of dramatic exchange between the couple dissing each other during the first verse, things take a turn on the second verse when Fathermoh admits to being wrong and begs his girlfriend, now Shekinah Karen, to stay and the two go back to the house happily reconciled. [Unfortunate for the mubaba]
The outstanding thing about this song is the way the duo correlated local celebrities in their clash. They also reconciled on account of the artists; for instance when Fathermoh says, "Basi mapenzi ya kina, the Wajesus family," and Shekinah rhetorically remarks, "Ndo uanze kunililia, izo vako sidai". As we all know the power couple are known for showcasing their lives on social media, showing adoration to each other through gifts and expressing their emotions a little de trop.
With zero explicit content, clean language and no talk of hard drugs, this factual song is absolutely what people do want to hear from their playlist. We all love a song that tells a story that's relatable to most of us, and to add to that it's hilarious. If you haven't listened to this jam then you're no sufferer of FOMO cause that's a whole misout.
